    360 s turns on and immediately off


    Hi.

    My Xbox 360s has been packed away in a box for around 3 months.

    Today I connected it again and it doesn't work any more:

    I turn it on, the fan starts to turn and the green ON light in the middle of the ON/Off button turns and the power supply turn to green. In less than 3 seconds the light on the ON/OFF button turns red and the Xbox shuts its self down. Power supply light
    goes back to standby mode (orange).

    I let the supply cool down, connected it directly into a wall socket... I have tried several HDMI cables and also tried the AV-cables. Everything I try has the same result. I can't find anything online or on the Microsoft service website.

    Can somebody help me please?

    Hello.

    It's normal my Xbox 360 does not turn off immediately, unplug your ethernet cable and Xbox 360 will turn off immediately

    my xbox360 turns on and immediately turns off. The power supply has a green light so that’s not the issue. Please help.

    Personally I would have kept the S and given the E to the kids.

    Xbox one S turns on and then turns off immediately.

    When I press the on button:

    1. the Xbox starts up with the on beep
    2. The button light dims; and
    3. Then it shuts down with off beep 1-2 seconds later.
    Have detached the external hard drive and tried disconnecting the power for several mins.

    I can't do a factory reset as the machine won't stay on for more than 2 seconds, regardless of what buttons I press.
    Try holding down on the small button underneath the xbox logo on the console and that xbox button on the console until it starts flashing then wait until the light is solid and isn't flashing.
