  1. 360 profile will not sign in, manual or auto.

Hello. I have recently run into an issue where my 360 will not connect me to Xbox Live, be it an auto sign in or a manually. I have run connection tests, and they have come up positive for all parts, even Xbox Live itself. I have paid this month's subscription,
as well I receive no error messages at all, either. My profile simply continues trying to sign itself in, and I've waited over half an hour and nothing changes. The only way I can access my profile is when not connected to the internet.

Has anyone else run into this?

    :)

    auto sign into gold profile

There should be a setting to auto-sign-in.

To turn the auto sign-in feature on or off, follow these steps:

    1. Sign in to Xbox LIVE.
    2. Press the Guide button.
    3. Move to the Settings blade, and then select Profile.
    4. Select Auto Sign-in, and then make any changes that you want.
The auto sign-in setting is saved on your Xbox 360 Console but not in the profile on the Xbox LIVE servers. If you turn on the auto sign-in feature on your console, the setting is saved on your console, but you are not signed in automatically if you
use your profile on a different console.

Only one profile can have the auto sign-in feature turned on in one Xbox 360 console. If you have multiple profiles on one console, the auto sign-in feature for the first profile is automatically turned off when you turn on the auto sign-in feature for
    a second profile.

    Downloaded Fable Will not save

Hi. There is only 1 manual save plus 1 auto save. I only have 1 profile set on my account and it is set on auto sign in. And there is no corrupt icon.

  5. I've deleted and redownloaded my profile, but that still keeps me locked in a constant signing in spinning loading ring.

  8. 360 profile will not sign in, manual or auto.

Yesterday I got a text saying my account had been accessed by someone and that I needed to recover it from xbox.com. It had to wait until I was out of work and I had forgotten about it by then and tried signing into LIVE. It prompted me to sign in, and when
I did, it said I needed to recover it from xbox.com so I hopped on the laptop and requested an authentication code to my cell phone. I got distracted after I heard my phone go off and eventually as I went to type in the authentication code I saw my console
had signed into LIVE despite the prompt that I couldn't still being up. I even received a party invite. The code must've expired by the time I typed it in because it made me do it all over again. I changed my password and played the rest of the night. Toward
the end, close to 1 am Eastern Time, I dashboarded and stayed in the party. My fiancee was also in the party still playing Destiny with our friend and I experienced major lag as I tried to click on ads or apps. Like a computer loaded with virus and registry
errors, I'd click on something and it would take so long to load I'd want to get up and go press the power button because I was sure it froze. I'd even not be able to hear the party through my mic it was so backed up in processing my "requests." I'm on a wired
connection and my fiancee has a similar classic 360 that she accesses live with wireless, all from the same router, so it was a little weird that she wasn't getting kicked out of her game while I had this bad of a connection. Time usually heals, so I went
to bed on it. The next day it was doing the same thing when we turned it on and hopped into a party with our friend, and for conversation's sake we had to quit clicking on ads or apps to keep it from getting chopped up while we talked. I cleared my cache and
turned it off and got into chat with support, whom wasn't a lot of help, to the point I wanted to file a complaint.

  9. For info sake, I cleared my cache once and turned my 360 off. I got into a chat with "Nelson" on the Xbox support site, who had me clear my cache 3x and restart console. We then reset my network to factory defaults. He consistently had my issue incorrect,
and then said I may need to contact my ISP and have them be certain all my ports were open and that he was SURE that would solve my issue (and if it didn't, well, I'd have to talk to someone else than him, wouldn't I?). I tactfully stated he seemed vague about
my problem but awfully certain how to fix it, and that his solution of making me call another company's tech support just didn't seem correct, especially since my fiancee's console was then turned on and signed into LIVE perfectly without issue. I assured
him our internet configuration was not a problem. He said that I would need it repaired then, and stated the incorrect version of my issue as his reasoning. I told him that was NOT my issue, and then he had me redownload my profile, which went off without
a hitch. Live's connection test said I was on the internet, and even connecting to LIVE, and even allowing me to re-download my profile, but he was darn sure my ISP was to blame at this juncture. So when redownloading my profile didn't work he suggested I
bring the ISP into it, as he was certain it was strictly a NAT issue (which the other console is not having, and I have never had at this residence). He ignored all I had to say and pursued making sure I copied down the ports that needed opening or that I
email the transcript to myself. When I repeated my configuration was not the issue, he disappeared, promptly replaced by a "Clint" who had a "buddy" demeanor but the same grammar/syntax errors of English as a Second Language that "Nelson" did. Clint was even
less helpful and frankly even more condescending, and didn't bother to correct me when I addressed him as "Nelson" and told him I found it awfully perturbing that nobody seemed to care what my unique issue actually was and that my conversation with both personalities
basically broke down to "Fix your NAT type or send us your console with $100 for repair." I stated at this point I needed someone that wasn't reading from a guide but actually had knowledge of the system and its interactions to troubleshoot my issue. I had
placed my fiancee's memory unit in MY 360 he insisted was broken and it signed her into LIVE with zero issue. I had ruled out my console and my internet configuration as the culprit. He suddenly wanted to try one more thing. And we deleted/re-downloaded the
last system update. At this point, I had spent 3 hours "trouble-shooting" and neglecting my obligations at the house, which resulted in me having to quickly dress and abandon my laptop, which wasn't doing me much good anyway. So YES, I've jumped through all
those hoops, I've identified that my 360 works like a champ offline until I try to make it sign into my LIVE account, its not the console itself, and its not my internet. Someone qualified please care and do something.

This has to do with your account. try signing into account.live.com and check if it prompts you to verify your email.

  11. Deleting and re-downloading my profile is the closest thing I can do. when I redownload it, it says I logged into Xbox Live but it still keeps me locked in the logging in. I can see that I am logged in, I can see one of my friends online, but it won't take
me away from the logging in spinning circle thing.

  12. Insikoi, it DID want me to verify my email. I'm away from console at the moment but I will definitely update when I try signing in again. Thank you!

  14. This has not necessarily resolved my issue, and now after I looked at my recent activity it is showing an alias I'm not aware of with a very similar email to my sign-in email signing in like crazy while I've been unable to. Was I hacked?

ninja, when you go to account.live.com, did you verify the email there? or you don't have access to the email that was stated in there?
