360 profile (for players that never had a 360 console)

Hi,

When I start a title, it appears a message saying "getting your xbox 360 info..."

The progress bar doesn't move, and after a while it disappears and enters the game.

But when I press the start bottom, a sign in message appears requesting to download profile.

But I don't have a profile to download...

I never had a 360 console before.

When I open a 360 BC title for the first time, shouldn't the emulator create a 360 profile on my Microsoft account? To allow players that never had a xbox 360 the possibility of playing 360 BC games in full (save progress and achievements).

I thought my current profile was common to all consoles (360, one).

Shouldn't the emulator give the possibility to create a "offline" 360 profile in the xbox one hard drive, to overcome issues in terms of connectivity with the xbox live, so it would allow me to just save my progress locally (without cloud sync)?

If possible I would appreciate same help or feedback...

As far as I know, your profile needs to have been signed in to an Xbox 360 console, because when you buy or press download on a game from the Xbox Marketplace website, it automatically downloads when you turn on your 360 console. If you've never had a 360
console, it won't be able to do that.

I fixed it.

Go to Xbox.com and find your security settings for your profile, then find "Xbox 360 Profile Protection" and set it to require the profile to redownload the profile every time you sign in (this will also sign you off of all 360 consoles you were previously signed into).

Since my 360 had been set up to automatically sign in, I'm thinking the Xbox One thought I was still signed in on my 360, and obviously you can't be signed in on multiple Xbox's on the same profile at the same time, so it flagged an error.

At least that's my guess. I also cleared my Xbox 360 local data and did a console restart.

Just follow those steps and it should hopefully be fixed.

I had a similar issue but all I had to do was when the message appears to download a profile, continue with that and just enter the log in details that you have for your Xbox One profile. You don't have to create the profile on an Xbox 360. Like when I made
one for my son way back when, I fist made the account on outlook.com and downloaded that to the 360.

Also, I've found varying success with this in different Xbox 360 BC games. If for some reason it's not working for that particular game, load up another to get it going, then go back to the game you want to play and it should be all good.

Thank you for your help, but after I select to download a profile, appears a message saying "can't connect to xbox live".

When I open the xbox guide menu, in the home tab appears "sign in (0 profiles)".

It seems the emulator is not recognizing my xbox one profile, because is not being able to connect to xbox live.

I tried with a different game but it didn't work either...

If I buy a 2nd hand xbox 360, is it possible to create a offline profile, put it in a USB stick and connect to the xbox one? and will the emulator be able to use that 360 profile through the manage storage option in the xbox guide home tab?

Setting up an offline profile on a 360 and trying to transfer it via USB will not work I'm afraid.

What games have you tried so far. The games I've found to work the best are the Banjo Kazooie games for this kind of thing.
