360 Pal games on an American xbox one?

Hey everyone. Will my australian 360 games work on an American xbox one console?

I'm planning to buy MS points..but there's a problem -,-

I'm planning to buy Microsoft points but actually I don't know what should I get European or American....

Some People say "look at your game Cover at the Top right under the Xbox 360 Banner you're gonna see a small box written inside of it PAL or NTSC if it's PAL then it's european and if it's NTSC then it's American"....Well mine is PAL > European

and Other People say " go buy Microsoft points from your Xbox 360 Console and then you're gonna see list of Microsoft Points Prices...if you see i.e. $9.99 then you get American and if it's in Euro mark "€" then you get European...Mine is "$" which means
American......

Complicated....my games are PAL and my Shop Currency is U.S Dollar "$"?!?!?!?!?!!?!

how weird ...could you please help me..

Moving to New Zealand

Plus the Xbox 360 is region locked, NTSC Xbox 360s (USA, Canada, Mexico) will only play American games, just like PAL Xbox 360s (Europe, Australia, and New Zealand) will only play European/Australian games, and then NTSC-J Xbox 360s (Japan) will only play
Japanese games. So just buy a PAL Xbox 360 and rebuild your collection from there, otherwise, I would upgrade to the Xbox One if I were you, Xbox One is region free.

Once they become BC and any existing problems fixed you will have no problems.

PAL/NTSC are now pretty non existent when it comes to anything other than local TV broadcast, they should work. PAL and NTSC differed in both resolution (lines) and frame rate (field), so the games and the console were basically tweaked to run on the relevant
TV's.

Since nowadays everything is pretty much 720p or 1080p worldwide, and all these BC games will probably be the NTSC version, since it runs at a more favourable frequency for HDTV's.

Xbox One games are region free, whereas Xbox 360 games aren't, therefore I don't know what licensing issues there may be.

So basically, there's nothing on the hardware side of things that would prevent you being able to play PAL games on a US console. However, licensing and things like that might put a spanner in the works.

I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Morrowind will only work on the 360 if it is a PAL copy (and needs to run at 50hz) or is the North American version.

Look on the binding of the disc box. Does it say NTSC or PAL? (assuming xbox 360).

If it's PAL it will work in xbox 360 consoles in the UK and the rest of the EU and parts of Asia but if it says NTSC it will only work in North American Xbox 360s.

If you have a mismatched game and it's not the right one for your region that will not work in your console and there's no solution for that besides buying the correct version for your console.
