360 overheating

    Hello I would get an air duster and dust out all the vents of the console and the power brick. Youll be amazed at how much dust builds up in those things!

    due to the age of these 360 consoles now the thermal paste will most likely be cremated by now, best bet is find a local reputable repair shop and have them give it a thorough clean and new thermal paste, as Microsoft don't make them anymore and don't
    repair them either.

    I had a similar problem with my 360 years back, would make a strange whirring noise then switch off. Turned out to be overheating.
