360 immulator for xbox one release date??

Hmm. Never actually seen "dual layer dvd's." I have seen dual layer HDDVD's and Blu-ray discs though.

Thats what 360 games are, dual layer dvd's.

Normal dvd holds around 4GB, dual layer (like 360 game) around 8GB.

^ Never knew that. I always thought that they were over recorded (Nero) because the largest xbox game disc I have (300 +) is only some 7. whatever Gigs in size. Anything more than that seems to come with multiple discs. Halo 4, Wofenstein, Mafia II, L.A.
Noire etc.

Also, looking over all my blank DVD- or + R discs. It says 7 gb.

So if there is an Xbox 360 game disc 8 or more GB in size, on a single disc. I've not come across it.

Electro. Yeah I know what you mean, this article explains why the devs don't fill the disc with game data, some of it is used for anti piracy and video partition.

I've also heard November, this can work offline, it is emulation of the 360. The non backwards compat ps3's play Ps2 game fine through emulation, similar situation which is hard work and some clever minds.

Kids participate on this forum site too. So far I think it's only for people who want a buggy OS on their consoles aka in this Preview Program thingy. I don't know why they advertise it on the X1 and X360 Dashboards when the Feature is not ready and out
for everyone. We get all hyped, only to find out Microsoft hasn't perhaps announced an official date the feature will be out on Xbox 1.

How is that not emulation in the traditional sense? It's exactly how people have been making emulators for years, they replicate the hardware in software.

Thus it isn't emulation in the traditional sense.
