    360 hard drive to Xbox 1? Please help!


    I have the 360 with the 120gb hard drive. Do I need to keep that & put it on the xbox 1, to still be able to use my gamertag? I'm trying to sell my 360, but I have my gamertag, and game info stored on the hard drive on my 360 & I'm not sure if I can sell
    the hard drive with my 360, or if I should keep it?

    I of course want to use the same gamertag on xbox 1. Thanks very much for any help!

    The Xbox 360 should be able to support external hard drives for game storage.

    Is your Xbox 360 fully updated? Have you also formatted the hard drive with the Xbox 360?

    Not true you need a internal MS brand 360 hard drive to play the older Xbox games a flash drive will not work.

    The Xbox 360 hard drive is incompatible with the Xbox One. Clear and sell it with your console.

    As for your gamertag, so long as it's connected to Live you're ok. Just type in your email and password associated with the tag when you get your Xbox One.

    Yes. It is recommended that you format the entire HDD so none if your information is on it and you ensure your account is safe and secure.
