360 games not working on xbox one

Im sorry if this question has been asked before but im having trouble getting 360 games to work on my xbox one. Every time I try and load a 360 game, for example Fallout New Vegas, it tells me "Sorry, this profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console.
To fix it, download it again." So I need to know what to do to fix this, as this has been happening with all my 360 games, not just New Vegas. Thank you in advance. General info: My live wont expire for several months, I have downloaded/deleted my profile
and these games several times, I own the full versions of all these games.

Xbox and Xbox one in the same home.

Are you having problems with your xbox one games? Or are you referring to your 360 games not working on the xbox one, if so, THEOWENKILLER is right. Xbox 360 games will not work on the Xbox One.

Check your games are on the list Xbox One Backward Compatibility and check if its a disc only one, make sure you have the disc in.

In regards to the profile, try removing the profile, power cycle and re-add the profile to check if this resolves this issue.

Add or Remove a Microsoft Account on Xbox One

Restart or Power Cycle Xbox One Console

UPDATE: I forgo to mention it disconnects me form XBL when the game loads and I uninstalled and reinstalled FNV and it did not work please help

Hey ThaDragunborn! Try starting the game without a profile signed in and see if that changes things. Additionally after the Xbox 360 emulator launches, try pressing the menu and view buttons to sign in there. Post back and let me know how it goes!

This did not work either, after the emulator launches and the title screen comes up I signed in and after a few seconds it says disconnected from xbox live, and i get the same message telling me to redownload my profile. Thank you for the suggestion though

Let's have you try clearing local Xbox 360 data with
this troubleshooter. Once you clear that, power cycle your Xbox One by holding down the power button for 8-10 seconds, and then try redownloading your profile while in-game. Let us know how it goes

YES! Thank you so much now everything works. In case others have this problem I removed my profile and cleared the local cache per the instructions, and then I power cycled the console, signed in before I started the game, and once I started it up my 360 info
was re downloaded, and everything works. Again thank you for the help.

All Xbox 360 games work on all Xbox 360s, some of them work on Xbox One and Series

All Xbox One games work on all Xbox Ones, some 360 games work on Xbox One and virtually all of them work on Series consoles

Xbox Series games only work on series consoles

You will need to buy Xbox One games, as the Xbox One is not backwards compatible. Xbox 360 games will not work on the Xbox One, and Xbox One games will not work on the 360. Sorry!

If the DLC is for the Xbox One version of the game, then no, you can't use that DLC on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

For example, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is a Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 game that works on the Xbox One. However, if you buy Xbox One DLC, then this will NOT work on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

But if you get the Xbox 360 DLC content for a Backwards Compatible game, the DLC will work on the emulated Xbox 360 on Xbox One.

just as everyone has stated. Xbox One dlc will not work with Xbox 360 games & same goes for xbox 360 dlc will not work with Xbox One games either.
