360 game won't work on new 360

I own the 360 version of the game Gun. It worked fine when I had the old white 360,but now it won't work on my black one. It either comes up unrecognized disk or play dvd. Every other game I own has worked fine this is the only one that won't work. Any suggestions?

Batman 3 won't start

Batman 3 won't load on my son's 360. Tried two brand new copies, neither works, installed it to HD and won't work...deleted updates and re-updated...same thing.

other games working fine, including new nba2k15.

Games for Windows games only work on PC, they won't work on your Xbox 360. If you want to play it on Xbox 360, you'll need to buy the Xbox 360 copy.

 

Clean the disc. Your Black 360 may have a dirty laser, so get a lens cleaning kit for a few bucks at RadioShack and run it through.

If you still have your old 360 and a flash drive you could use it to install the game and then move it over to your new system if nothing else works. But that still may not work if it wont recognize the game CD, you would need to try and see.

 

You can't move installed games. Not to mention that if his console doesn't recognize the new disc, then that would provide no use to him anyway. Try to insert the disc without your HDD and all accessories removed.

 

Sorry to tell you.The newer 360s have stronger lazers so if the disk has been resurfaced or has disk rot/cancer bing it. the disk will do exactly what youve described. because of the stronger lazer .buy new copy best soloution. 5 bucks amazon/walmart
