    I have played the a game to death both on the 360 and the Xbox one. One of my all time favourite games.

    Are you buying X-gen games on both systems?

    Xbox One only for me.

    I have ordered Batman: Origins and GTA V for the 360 but those games are not announced for the Xbox One so they don't count 360 game to xbox one :) . If they are announced (not released) for the Xbox One before the games are released on the 360 I'll cancel my pre-orders for those. If they are announced after the release of the 360 version I may double dip depending on how good I find them.

    I'm doubt too that Xbox One BC will support all Xbox 360 games, so just keep your Xbox 360 for Xbox 360 games and use your Xbox One for Xbox One games.

    Where did the Xbox 360 games come from? Another Xbox 360?

    If they were downloaded via an Xbox One/Series console you can't play these games on an Xbox 360. Firstly the drive wouldn't be configured for an Xbox 360. Secondly, Xbox 360 games downloaded via an Xbox One or Series X|S are actually 360 games that have been converted to run on an Xbox One, they are no longer native Xbox 360 games.

    You will need to buy Xbox One games, as the Xbox One is not backwards compatible. Xbox 360 games will not work on the Xbox One, and Xbox One games will not work on the 360. Sorry!

    If the DLC is for the Xbox One version of the game, then no, you can't use that DLC on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

    For example, Assassins Creed IV Black Flag is a Backwards Compatible Xbox 360 game that works on the Xbox One. However, if you buy Xbox One DLC, then this will NOT work on the Xbox 360 version of the game.

    But if you get the Xbox 360 DLC content for a Backwards Compatible game, the DLC will work on the emulated Xbox 360 on Xbox One.
