360 Game Not Working

So I’ve had a problem with a game I play from time to time left 4 dead 2. I’ve had it for years on my Xbox now dating back all the way to the 360. But just this week it did not let me play it for some odd reason it didn’t want to load and kept taking me to the menu or freezing so I deleted it to re download it. But it showed on my owned games that it wasn’t there for some reason even though I purchased the game. I tried everything to find it and download it but nothing has worked I even tried to buy it again but it’s not available at the time. The game has worked perfectly until now for some strange reason it just stopped working if someone could help that would be appreciated, Thanks.

It is getting to a point in game where it can load the scratched part of the CD. There really isn't a guaranteed way to fix a scratched disk.

It sound like the disc is damaged. Most likely the scratch has damaged a critical bit of info that must be read from disc. You may be able to borrow a friends copy of game and download that to your Xbox. Then try playing with your disc. Hope this helps.

They could try, but It becomes a problem when disc's get repaired too often. the disc changes and the laser aren't always able to read the disc properly. when getting a disc fixed, make sure it a place that has a good resurfacer, and doesn't leave the circular
buff marks on the disc.

jaq. do you use your xbox, laying down or standing on the end, I tend to see a lot of the circle scratches when it's vertical
