360 freezing while watching Netflix

    360 freezing while watching Netflix


    I try watching shows on Netflix on my 360. Most times after about 8 minutes of video the screen freezes but the audio continues for about 30 seconds. After that it just locks the entire 360 up and I have to actually unplug the unit to turn it off and restart.
    How do I fix this?

    Xbox freezing

    I have been having problems with my 360 slim freezing lately. its happening a lot. i have only played COD ghost and battlefield 4 when it was freezing. I had a buddy say his was doing the same thing while watching Netflix or playing games. Is any one having
    this problem lately? if so was there a bad update?

    Disconnected while watching Netflix

    I have been dealing with this issue for a bit over a week now, and it has become a major problem. I am watching netflix then all of a sudden it kicks me off and says that I need to subscribe to gold in order to watch netflix. I click to sign into LIVE and
    sometimes it will sign me back in, other times I have to go to my xbox home, while other times I need to restart. I will watch another 10 minutes and it will happen again. I have no idea what is going on with this. I just bought the wireless adapter after
    having been wired in at my previous apartment. I have never had any issues with LIVE until now. Please help!

    360 freezing while watching Netflix

    Try clearing the cache and then restart the console.

    support.xbox.com/.../clear-system-cache

    If that doesn't work then try removing the hard drive and see if the system will continue to freeze without it.

    If that doesn't work then you may need to send it in for repair.

    Apologies guys, it did freeze this morning and my wife was playing with the wires in the back while I was sleeping due to the freeze. I have run the system reset to factory since there was no picture. I will keep you posted as to if it freezes again. It
    seems it froze while she was watching netflix.

    As long as your account is the one logged in on the 360 they will be able to watch Netflix while you play and watch things on the Xbox One.
