360 ERROR 80151901

Hello there my name is joshua when we i first got my xbox 360 it already needed a repair its built in wireless adapter broke. so i used a ethernet cable. it worked for about a year and a half. then i kept getting this error called 80151901. I tried deleting
my profile thinking it was corrupt i could not download it back. so now i dont even have my profile.i tried resseting the modem in a number of different ways. ive done everything. ive reset my internet to default settings that didnt work eather i dont know
what to do i need help all advice is needed.

Appreciate if you could post up the make and model of your router and modem and if your Xbox is directly connected to the router, or do you connect with a different set up?

If you go to Xbox Network Settings and select Configure Network, is the IP address within the range of an 169.254.0.0/16 address?

If its possible, try connect your console with a different Ethernet cable, if the current one has become faulty.

Could you also try connect your console's Ethernet cable to a different LAN port on your router.

Try set your console's IP settings manually.

On your computer, open up a command prompt (on Windows press "Windowskey + R", then type "cmd" and press Enter. On Mac choose spotlight and type terminal).

Windows: In the black window (cmd) type: ipconfig /all

Take note of the following:

Default Gateway

Subnet Mask

DNS Servers

Mac: In the terminal windows type: ipconfig getpacket en1 (for wireless).
ipconfig getpacket en0 (for wired).

Take note of the following:

Subnet_mask

domain_name_server (DNS)

router (Default Gateway)

Go to Xbox Network Settings and select Configure Network. On the
Basic Settings tab select IP Settings. Select
Manual and select IP address.

Choose an IP address that is not in use and within the range of X.X.X.254 - X.X.X.1
But not .1 or .254

Enter the address for your Subnet Mask.

Enter the address for your Default Gateway.

Select the Basic Settings tab and select DNS Settings. Select
Primary DNS Server.

Enter the address for your DNS server.

Press "B" on your controller and select Test Xbox LIVE Connection.

Post back and let us know how that goes.

 

ok so i have spent 2 hours changing my ip addresses and none have worked so i have offically tried everything haven't i really dont won't to repair my xbox.
