    Im looking to buy this for my friend but he can only have 1 device that has wifi. So im wondering if i buy this and remove the wifi card will the system still play games with out any issues. or will the system give me an error code and refuse to do anything.

    XBOX 360 Slim and Sky WiFi

    Hi,

    Has anyone had issues connecting their xbox 360 slim to a sky wifi router (netgear brand)

    Since owning my 360 I have been unable to get it to connect. I have tried all encryption settings and turning it off but no joy. I know the wifi works ok as my laptop and phone work without problem by the side of the xbox.



    Is it just that the wifi card in the 360 is pants?

    E Console (Model 1538) Hello I thought it was the internal Wifi card gone bad, but after testing with two other cards out of my other XBoxes my speeds are still very slow on this XBox and capped at only 6mpbs. Thanks, Any suggestions?

    Ah sorry i forgot to provide an important detail, I have the first xbox 360 without a built in wifi card and I dont have an ethernet cable long enough to connect it to my modem (also dont have the usb wifi receiver either). Is there any possible solution for my scenario besides bridging?

    the first version of the xbox 360 needed a wireless adapter, but the S and e models included wifi so those models should be able to connect via wifi just fine

    Well no AA most 360 consoles don't come with WiFi unless you have the adapter on the back with the antenna which you can't. Miss on elite pro or core consoles

    Or if you have a Xbox 360 s or e whoch comes with wifi built in

    You would need to get a wired controller. You cannot plug in the controllers like Xbox one and have them become wired.
