360 E hard drive

The XBox 360 S and E both use the same hard drive interface so you can buy a hard drive that works for an S for an E.

Are you getting an Xbox 360 E model? If so you could just pop the hard drive out the S model and plug it back into the E models Hard drive caddy. The slim hard drive can he plugged into the E model as it uses the same type of hard drive caddy setup.

Only official MS brand hard drives will work for backwards compatibility. Anything else will not work and is actually a violation of the terms of service to use. The Slim and the E models use the exact same hard drive.

if your old hard drives are from the same type as the one from your console console then they should work.

A official Xbox 360 hard drive from the Slim consoles will fit inside the E consoles, but the origial xbox 360 console hard drives, will not fit in/on the Slim or E consoles

You can use the hard drive you have. The hard drive should work on any Xbox 360 E or S console.
