    hello

    i am trying to play prototype 2 (disk) on my xbox one. but it says this game is not backwards compatible. but i can find it in the store, so it clearly is.

    this issue existed for a long time, so is there any solution yet? what works is downloading them while they are on game pass, later it will be able to read the license from the disk.

    So, if I were to use the 360 disk, I would need to put it in the 360 console. What if I use a 360 disk and put in my Xbox One S, then buy the Toy Pad for the Xbox One, will I also need a new disk?

    The disks will say if they are for xbox one or the 360. Check the disk, then the backwards compatibility list.

    Xbox one isnt compatible with xbox 360 games because the xbox one has a blu-ray disk drive.

    Currently the Xbox One 360 emulator can not handle digital multi disk games, disks have to be manually changed. Not sure if EA Access will allow it or not.

    I think it is because the 360 uses HD DVD'S, most games that I have seen have been on 2 disks. With the XBOX One changing to Blu-ray disks, all game should be on one disk. Blu-ray disks can hold a lot more data than a HD DVD can.
