360 Discs aren't read by my Xbox One

Hello Everyone

I not been able to read any xbox 360 disc, I have tried gears of wars, COD II and halos, but when i Insert a 360 disc the console doesn't do anything, no pop-up no nothing.... they work just fine in my xbox 360.

Any help? please?

Possible an Idea to play Xbox 360 Games on Xbox One??

Xbox One can read Xbox 360 discs, they are standard DVD-9 format. They aren't special discs. The reason the One can't play them is because the games are coded to PPC architecture, Xbox One is X86.

They aren't considering backwards compatibility. They are considering an emulator that will allow the Xbox One to play 360 games via streaming or downloading. It won't actually read old 360 discs, though.

 

Is your console updated and connected to the internet? Have you also tried a
power cycle?

An internet connection is required for 360 backward compatibility, as the Xbox One downloads the entire game (rather than install it off the disc). A power cycle can help refresh the list of backward compatible titles that the console will accept, and usually
solve most other strange problems with the Xbox One.

 

Yes my Xbox has 7/24 access to the internet, also 1TB free in the external HD and like 100GB in the internal.

Usually checking for updates.

Have reset it plenty times, also disconnected from power supply several times since the first time I tried to play 360 GOW 1. Still couldnt play :c

Any other thoughts?

Can you try and Xbox One disc in the console plus a Blu Ray / DVD to see it those discs work?

 

Games run fine, let me get out from work and try Blu rays and Dvd's

It read XBO and blu rays, but not DVD or 360...

 

Does anyone had this issue too?
