360 controller triggers squeek, need help

It's driving me insane. Every single time I press down on the right shoulder trigger (not bumper) and sometimes on the left, there is a squeek. It's annoying. Very annoying. It throws off my concentration every single time. I did some research and found
people saying to use this spray, or that lubricant, but no specific answers.

Can anyone with technical experience please explain to me what spray/lubricant/oil I need to get to make my triggers shut the hell up and how exactly I can apply it without tearing the controller apart? I know it can be done, I'm not looking
to debate anything. I'm just hoping I can get some answers for my issue and possibly help others with the same problem.

Xbox One controller doesn't feel right

I prefer the 360 controller because I don't like the feel of the bumpers and triggers on the Xbox One controller. The triggers especially just feel that bit too soft and springy.

WD- 40 very small amount down the trigger and I mean one small spray then wipe of the remainder. This might void your controller warranty though but it will and does work

I'd rather not use WD40 since it can collect dust and it hardens over time. It also degrades plastic like vaseline. I was wondering if silicon lubricant would work.

Can anyone offer advice on lubricants other than ones that hurt plastic or cause build up?

My problem is my Xbox 360 wireless controller, everytime I move the controller up , it either moves slowly or stops. has anyone experienced this issue? it's irritating. I Bought my 360 around september 2011.

a few hours playing FPS will grind that sucker down - have had alot of my controllers the trigger's squeek and grind.

return it to where you purchased it from get it swaped - but my one does the same a little bit so who knows the whole batch might be like that.
