360 Controller Triggers activating randomly

One of my controllers has schitzo triggers that activate randomly when not pressing them. I just noticed last night that even the slightest "twist" of the controller arms will set it off and sometimes light shaking will as well. Is this an issue anyone has
fixed?

Controller's Right Trigger is Pressing Down on Its Own

Been having an issue with right trigger activating without pressing the trigger down....I ended opening the controller and there was a screw missing from its fitting and was found stuck to the magnet on the board where the trigger makes contact, causing
the control to make a faulty reading hence activating the triggers command line....sorted

Have you ever cleaned them? More than likely just some dirt in the switch. And it`s surprising how much builds up over time, even from the cleanest of hands.

A good quality electrical contact cleaner usually gets them working a treat again.

 

I cleaned the outer shell and since the controller is out of warranty I went ahead and popped it open and everything inside appears perfectly clean. I can't tell where the trigger makes contact with the circuit board or how the board registers a press. Anyone
know? I'm fairly confident with my soldering skills if something needs a replacement.
