also they are usually trial codes so a month or something like that for new customers, if you already had gamepass in the past it most likely wouldnt work, it was similar to when gold trial cards were added to 360 games in the past.

Gamepass ultimate and gamepass is ONLY for xbox one or higher

It does NOT apply to xbox 360

360 Games downloaded with Games with Gold will (s far as i know) still work on One without anything. Only One Games Need Gold or Gamepass to work .

for me, my old GwG Games i downloaded on 360 will still work without Gold and co. on One.

most of the time no, but the digital licence will supercede the disc version.

if you downloaded a game in gamepass for example then buy the disc version, there would be no point using the disc while that game is in gamepass, if it leaves gamepass then just pop in the disc and it should work fine (should but this is Microsoft lol).

as the windows system does not natively support the ps4/5 controller you have to use ds4 which is a program that basically disguises the ps4 controller as an xbox controller, some games in gamepass work, some don't, obviously i have a ps4 controller and have used it for all games on every store except shoddy gamepass.
