Tom Clancy's RainbowSix Vegas 2 for Xbox 360 on the list and stated that it would work but when I put the disk in, the message popped up saying that it wasn't playable on Xbox one. What gives?

My Games/Apps filter error

Both ‘Laura Croft: GoL’ and ‘Mafia II’ are not filtering correctly in My Games/Apps. They are both 360 Back Compat games, but they are listed under the XBox One Games filter and not under Back Compat.

backward compatability

if i buy a 360 back compat game on my xbox one will it automatically install or do i have to download it to my 360?

Make sure that your Xbox One is connected to the Internet and to Xbox Live, then try installing again. If it's still not working, power-cycle the console (you can leave the R6V2 disc in it). To do that, press and hold the power button on the face of the
console for several seconds, holding it down until it shuts off. Then, after 15-20 seconds, restart the console and I have a good feeling it'll start installing.

If you are trying to play the game on a Xbox 360 or a Xbox One, sorry to say but the game is not backward compatible for either console. You can check the full list of games that are here.

you can Not move any 360 games from a xbox 360 to a Xbox One S.

The only option that works if that the 360 games are backwards compatible and you own the 360 games digitally or on disc, that will allow you to Download the 360 games on your Xbox One console.

If it's backwards compatible it would only be available on the Xbox One as a backwards compatible game. Not on the 360

There are backwards compatible games available for the 360. Black is one of them.
