    ^ It's the other way around, 343 Industries was named after 343 Guilty Spark. And I've heard that 343 Guilty Spark was named 343 due to a math problem involving the number 7 (7 x 7 x 7), linking it to Bungie's favorite number.

    Think of it like this:

    343 is teaching you to be a better player. 343 punishes you for dying with a power weapon. 343 is trying to teach you to be smart on the battlefield. Don't be dumb with a power weapon.
