33% off Xbox gold for a year renewal

I appear to have the same issue that others have had in the past concerning a dashboard offer for 33% off Gold when renewing for a year.

I have attempted to purchase but it reverts to the full price. I have updated my payment card details but no joy. cant seem to see what the fix was for the others with the same issue?

Last year I bought live for 33% off and it is about to expire. If I turn on automatic renewal, will it be renewed at the 33% off price or will it charge me the full price?

Question about renewing my Gold account

OK, my Xbox Live Gold account is going to expire in a few days. I have Automatic Renewal turned off. I want to renew it, but will only do so at my previous rate of 33% off or better. When I look at My Account, it says



Gold – 33% off 12 Months

so if I renew it now will I get 33% off the next year's subscription? Thanks.

Mostly these offers are for people new to Xbox Live who do not have a Gold membership or people whos membership has lapsed.

 

I would have thought that but the blurb with the offer is for me to renew my subscription before in lapses at the end of the week.
