33% Off Gold membership

Hello, Don't know if this is the right place to post this so here goes. I've been a member for many years. And was about to renew my account. But because I'm disabled money's more important. So anyway I managed to get a 59.99 card to update my account.
Anyway I logged on yesterday and noticed that I could renew for 33% off. SO I tryed to use it thinking that it would put the extra 20 dollar's into my account you would think that it should work that way. So after calling Microsoft and talking with them.
IT appears that the system use is to basic to do that. BUT NO I was told because it was a renewal code there's nothing they can do about it So I ended up paying full price for it. But gee wiz mabe next year the 33% offer might be available I was told by
the tech. PS IT DOESN'T SAY ANYTHING ABOUT NOT BEING ABLE TO DO WHAT I TRIED TO DO. ONLY A WORD ABOUT MUST HAVE A CREDIT CARD WITCH I DO BUT ONLY USE FOR EMERGENCYS.. OH WELL SCREWED AGAIN. NICE STONE AGE ACCOUNTING SYSTEM YOU GOT THERE MICROSOFT. (

Why have i not received a discount

My friends and other people are receiving 33% off there 12 month gold membership but why have i not i think it is totally unfair

 

xbox live signup currently unavailable...please help

I am also not able to buy a gold membership for 33% off on this computer account yet either which will be really annoying if my profile starts working once the offer is gone and I have litterally been trying to get that offer since thursday.

But sadly ambassadors cannot help you with this issue

My best advice would be to provide feedback about this issue
