320GB Hard Drive for X360 Arcade

first of all you should not use 3rd party drives most of the time they do not even have the files to play the older games and are more likely to fail (usually after a system update that tends to disable them or make them 'format'). if that drive is not
showing up when connected to the system or cable it is probably best to return it and get a official one they are more $$$ but oh so worth it.

The 320GB hard drives only work with the new slim consoles, you could add a 120GB drive to the arcade Xbox but the 320 would not fit as they are now little black drives that go inside the slim Xbox.

Old thread I know... But when I searched this came up. Soooooo. I bought a used 320GB hard drive for my arcade 360. Its the same style and aftermarket. I got an official microsoft transfer cable to disc. It will not read my new 320gb hard drive. It doesn't
even show up? How do I get it to work?

Where did you buy the hard drive? and did it come with a download code for lego star wars 3? if it is a new official 320GB drive, then it would have come with a download code for this game, as well as demos for various arcade games preloaded onto it.
