hmmm i am still unsure what to do...

I do not have the space for a big tv, actually there 60-70 cm between me and my old monitor.

I will not use it for watching the tv but only for my pc and xbox.

maybe this benq is really the best solution

If you feel like 32" will be big enough then get a 32". I have a 32" and it's perfectly fine for the room I have now but I know for a fact that I'll want a 42" minimum when I go to a bigger room.

    :)

    32 inch for gaming

Here are two 32" HDTV models that I would recommend.

    Great Picture: Samsung 32" LED 720p 60Hz UN32EH4000 $330 - $380

    Great Value: Toshiba 32" LCD 720p 60Hz 32C120U $230 - $260

Actually, I work in retail for a major company in the electronics section, mainly tv's. As far as gaming goes, plasmas are actually really good, granted you don't have a lot of light in the room. the refresh rates do matter, more so than the resolution.
a plasma typically runs at 600 hz which means that you are not going to get a lot of motion blur, downside though, is that plsamas are not common in the 32 inch size, usually moreso 46 in and up, plus side is that they run really cheap, this is because the
use a lot of electricity and run warm and you run the risk of screen burn. as far as lcd or led goes, for an lcd i would go with either a panasonic or lg, for an led go for a samsung or sony. with led.... samsung and sony don't fade when at an angle to the
tv. when it come to 1080p and the like, al that is going to affect is pixilation. This is my opinion at least, I would rather play a game like cod where when i turn the screen isn't trying to catch up to a picture with less pixels per square inch. As far as
displays go in a retail environment, they fine tune the video settings to the best, but it still give you a basic idea of the picture quality. but its also a basis of preference, like some people prefer ford over chevy..... what is important is ask the associate
as much as you can, in truth..most of us t.v. retail people, we are gamer ourselves. ask what they play on and why.... hope this helps.

i mean a socket for the connection from pc, sorry im behind with the times lol, i used to use a full had monitor and when i switched to full hd tv i saw colours that werent even present on my monitor, if u were after a 32inch tv surely u can go with a 42
inch, just how far back can you sit away from the tv

By that logic, if you can fit a 32" then you can fit a 42" but if you can fit the 42" surely you can fit the 75"

Depends on what is your gaming preference. Taking into account also is if your a competitive gamer who wants fast refresh rates while having an amazing picture coupled with low input lag. For that kind of gaming going the monitor route preferably 24' inches
does the job. Benq and Asus make great gaming monitors.

    .

For the casual gamer uninterested in being number 1 or overall hardcore gaming than a 32 inch tv is great. Also remember now, that if you are a movie watcher or streamer of content than something in the 40' inches and up will do great. A 1080 p at 60 hz
will do the job wonderfully but if you are a tech who needs amazing specs and refresh rates than 1080p at 120 hz will do but those tvs usually come in the 40' inch plus range.

    .

Take your time and make a wise investment. It should not cost you an arm and a leg to pick up a great hdtv for under $300.00 dollars for all all the major name brands.

  9. Size isn't important; as long as you can see it, you're good to go. For me, it's the image quality that matters.

I game on a 32" and it's perfectly fine, providing I sit up reasonably close to it, which I do.

Make sure it's full 1080P and 120hz (5ms response at the most)

    [/quote]

err 95% of 32 inch TV's are 720p and tbh it isn't a huge feature difference at 32 inches between 1080p and 720p.

I personally have a 37 inch TV 1080p but i dont know if it is 120hz or 60 but i guess 60hz since it is pretty old and i bought it off craigslist and works great (Paid $200 for it so i find it as a great deal )

Picture is great. Game mode works awesome. Watching movies is a whole new ball game compared to my old tv. I bought it when it was on sale..but it is well worth the full price. I also bought a $350 pro gaming monitor...but once this tv came in I haven't
    touched the monitor.
