go ahead I dont care what you do IM jus saying its true, your vision can be impaired by sitting close to the big all the time, Im sure you will jus be fine, I dont think your mommy will read this an move you from sitting to close to the Big screen anytime

the bigger the better I got a 32incher and sit across the room and can't read all that little print unless I get up and stand next to the tv set.

D33dles - That nearly decade old article is mostly talking about eye strain from constantly reading things that are too close, not sitting close to the TV. There's a difference.

 

I've had a pretty extensive conversation with my optometrist abut this and ther matters and your eyes will adjust,if anything he said your eyes trying to focus is a form of excercise.same with wearing somewhat outdated glasses

 

Hey OP, I game off a 32 inch all the time, even though I have a much bigger tv in the living room. My gaming room is small, its comfortable and I don't think I'll upgrade until 4k is normal. It's also and LG, it's an lg that was bought in Vietnam and lived
in Hannoi, bangkok, Singapore and now Australia, I;m doing a plug for LG.

 

Tv's send you blind? That's just something parents tell their kids so they don't get to close to their expensive 55" tv's.

Yea I play on a similar TV as the one you said and I am happy with it.

 

I recently upgraded from a Sony 32" HDTV to a 40" LG 4K UltraHD Smart TV and the XBOX ONE looks absolutely amazing. No input lag. Fantastic colours. So your XBOX ONE should look just as good.
