32 Accounts Already on Xbox?

Hey Xbox forums,

The other day I was trying to add a friend's account to my Xbox One, however I only got the message something along the lines of 'There are 32 accounts on this Xbox, to add more please remove accounts in the settings. However, I only have 2 accounts currently
on the Xbox.

I have tried power cycling the Xbox several times and a also disconnting and reconnecting from the internet, but the issue remains.

Hello there,

Thank you for posting on Xbox Forums! As previously mentioned by the Ambassador, you might want to try

Factory Resetting the console. When you factory reset the console, it will remove any accounts that are currently downloaded onto the console and depending on if you do a Soft Factory (Games & Apps) or Full Factory reset it will remove games and apps from
the console.

Will this delete the current accounts?

Yes, it will remove game saves stored on the HDD, any specific settings you have changed will go back to default, and it will remove all your existing Microsoft accounts also. It will keep your game and dlc installs intact however, so you would only need
to redownload the required profiles and put your settings back to what they were. Your game saves should be backed up in the cloud already, but its best to make sure you connect to Xbox Live before you begin the reset to ensure any recent saves are backed
up.

Do you mean you already have 32 accounts on your Xbox and you're trying to add another one?
