31st July Issue - Backwards Compatible 360 achievement not unlocking on Xbox live

A group of us played on Tuesday 31st to obtain a very hard and rare achievement in a old 360 game, Texas Hold'em, the achievement being "Tournament Pro". This session is recorded on trueachievements.com. As of August 6th none of us have synced through to
Xbox live that achievement. There was a mixture of Backward Compatible users and 360 users across this session.

Trying my profile on my actual 360, it doesn't show the achievement there either. I have since obtained an achievement on Halo ODST Backward Compatible which has synced fine and is visible on BC and the 360.

Clearly there were serious issues that day affecting a number of different things. Does Microsoft have a resolution for this issue of their own making ? This is not the kind of achievement you do twice. I would also note that my BC virtual console now regularly
disconnects from Live every couple of hours as well since this has occurred.

Backwards Compat Games Not Rewarding Gamerscore After Unlocking

I recently (past few months) noticed that after unlocking achievements on backwards compatible games (Xbox 360) they would not increase my Gamerscore. I've checked my profile and the Xbox servers to see if the achievement(s) had unlock, and yes they had.
Also, this problem sometimes occurs with Xbox one games....... rarely.

Any help with solving this issue would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

HI I am not getting achievements unlocked on my Xbox one after completing the necessary criteria, I have tried removing my account from my console and re-installing it, signing in with my profile on someone else's console which is connected to Xbox live,
restarting my console. The achievements are unlocking on backwards compatible games but not on xbox one games.

 

Have you tried contacting the game's support group to see if they have any ideas why it won't unlock that achievement?

 

The achievement is unlocked on the BC 360. The issue is the connectivity or communication of that to Xbox live, and that was an issue created by Microsoft themselves with whatever issues they had on the 31st July. This isn't just affecting me, it is affecting
multiple gamers, on multiple games and has multiple posts in these forums.

Information on the resultion is what we require.

Unlocked xb360 achievement on X1 on July 31st but it is still not showing as unlocked on my profile

Another person, different game, different achievement - caught out by the same Microsoft Live issue on the 31st.

 

Any answers for us ? This thread isn't going to go away as this is a genuine issue and us gamers what information on what to do.

 

Right there with you man. Since the issue they had on July 31st my achievements are unlocking but my Recently Played list is not updating. New games I gave downloaded and played and earned achievements in, do not show up under my Achievements list. However
the unlock shows under the feed for me. Its messed up and really annoying. I consider myself and achievement hunter, I enjoy earning them but this is pissing me off. I need my list updated Microsoft!

I walked with a support member yesterday, they had no idea what I was saying...... terrible.

A rather embarrasing level of support for someone who is nearly 13 years a member and paid up for another 2.. bump. This thread is not going away until someone from Microsoft answers.

 

So, does xbox support have an answer for us gamers that were affected yet ?

So, any feedback? We're all still waiting for a response.. seeing as Microsoft's support page directs us to this forum as a means of support, and my question is a very reasonable one, affecting multiple people I am very, very diasspointed that Microsoft
hasn't taken the trouble to service this support query.
