    Well if you want talk in that area. The PC have win this generation. It can do 60FPS on 4K. But set up is too costly. This Gen of console are out dated in that area. Because they can't do 4k@60FPS.

    @Darkplayer - you need to learn to read. This thread is about 30fps vs. 60 fps and it is on the Xbox CONSOLE forums. Do you think ANYONE here cares that they could spend a fortune on a PC and get 4k 60fps?

    What do you want more of? Better resolution or smoother gameplay? Evidently you really cant have the best of both worlds.

    I would put myself in the smoother gameplay camp. I really can't really tell the difference between say 900p and 1080p.

    They say the eyes are the first thing to go when you get old. 30 fps vs 60 fps :)

    Numbers do not define "next-gen" - Next gen refers to the fact that X1 and PS4 are the next generation of consoles - no matter what the resolution or fps X1 and PS4 ARE NEXT GEN.

    If you want to talk about that hairy-fairy concept of "next gen graphics" (which some people thing is 1080p/60fps and beyond) then it's all nonsense - realism is "next gen graphics" - and no-one has shown it to exist in the current batch of games (even on
    a PC - I own a £2k rig).

    @Tzar - the point being it's is not possible to quantify "next gen graphics" - S.O. is more realistic that it would have been on the previous generation, but since no-one can actually define the line that represents the level of realism that defines "next
    gen graphics" then I think it is pointless....

    The point I'm really trying to make (badly) is that (IMO) "next gen graphics" should NOT be defined by numbers (i.e. 1080p/60fps).

    Bad news about Watch Dogs...

    Motion blur on 30 fps does not have the same effect as 60 fps. I was playing CS: Source yesterday when I read the rubbish in this thread. I have 60 Hz monitor and tested 30 fps vs 60 fps on CS: Source. 60 fps is much smoother, 30 fps has notable stuttering.

    True but I don't think its the frames. something just feels "off" with destinys gun play. I mean halo 4 was 30FPS and silky smooth. even smoother then BF4 and CoD and just as smooth as titanfall.
