30 fps vs 60 fps

@Upinya Akame ga Kill...watch it, hit me up.

I dont have PvZ but hear great things. You know Ive been on Peggle since day one. Best next gen game there is(not really but its provided me with more entertainment than any other game)

 

Why is 1080 p /60fps some sort of "at all cost standard".....why not 1290p / 75 fps.....1480p / 90fps??

Whether we see/feel it or no.

More is ALWAYS good, bigger is ALWAYS better, and 1080p running at 60FPS is AWSOME, and thus should come STANDARD!

Xbox One Slim w/much improved hardware anyone?

 

@burnin it's as simple as HD tv's are 1080p and spey 60fps (on average)

 

Obviously 60fps is better. If Xbox 360 can play games natively at 720p aka Halo 4 is natively 720p on Xbox 360, Xbox 1 should be able to play games at 1080p 30 or 60fps, or 720p @ 60fps.

 

@f00x....what about 4k TV's and monitors?

 

Any TV show or Movie running at 50FPS flickers in my eyes and always has. This is bad news when you live in a PAL country.

 

I find most Xbox One games feel like that. I don't believe it has anything to do with FPS or resolution. I think it's something to do with the control pad set up on the developers end.

The only FPS game that even feels remotely right for me is Titanfall, and that had an update to the control pad exclusively for it. Both Destiny (30fps) and Call of Duty: Ghosts (60fps) felt like there was a touch of input lag (as there was with Killzone
2 on the PS3).

 

How do you propose that? They build another console and release it next year?

The Xbox One is weaker than the PS4. You will get either lower resolution or lower framerate.

Just deal with it.

 

I can tell between 30 and 60 FPS in a heart beat. Go play BF4 on your XBOX One and then go play BF3 on your 360 and you can actually see the frames moving down the screen especially when panning left to right. Now after 10 minutes or so your eyes get adjusted
and it's not as noticeable.

I can easily see and feel the difference between 30fps and 60fps. I don't mind playing either one, but the difference is very noticeable. You can see instantly the difference if you play BF3 on the 360 then play BF4 on the X1. HUGE difference. If you
have a really good HDTV the difference is even more noticeable.

 

@burnin I meant they are the average target specs. 4k TV's will not be mainstream for a decade yet, I was shocked at the amount of people that have sub 1080p TV's and most people use their consoles on TV's not computer monitors.

MS has already said the console is capable of 4k modes which the competition can't do.

 

If you want real next get res. Get a PC. It can get 4K. Both PS4 and XBOX ONE have outdated tech in that area.
