3 Xbox's, one house, only 2 accounts.

How do i share my xbox live gold with my wife so that way we can play ESO together in whatever room we feel comfortable? Right now she can only play on her console (Xbox one S) which is located in our bedroom. If she tries to play in the living room (Xbox Series X) or gaming room (Xbox One X) my account has to be signed in for her to play on the console. So then when I go to play on another console in the house it tells me that I'll need to be signed out of the other console to get started and that boots her off the game saying she doesnt have Xbox live gold even though she is in my Xbox live Family. Currently the only way that we can play together is if I'm out in the Living room and she's in the bedroom. Any other way doesnt seem to work, and my wife is tired of playing in the bedroom. We even bought another copy of the game just in case that was the problem. I own the digital copy, and she has a physical copy. The exact message she gets when she tries to play out in the living room with my account not signed in is "The person who bought this needs to be signed in." then when we put the physical copy in it says she needs to renew xbox game pass like she doesnt share gold with me? And when I try to sign in and try to play ESO on the game room console it says I'm already playing this in the living room and i need to sign out elsewhere. I sign out of the living room console and it boots my wife offline and gives her this message "My gamerateg started playing this somewhere else" and then gives her the options to "play here instead" (1) which doesnt allow me in the other room to play, or (2) "Sign my gamertag out here" which boots her off the game and gives her the message that the person who bought the game needs to sign in. And the home console is the one in the bedroom. Please help. I just want to play games with my wife...

On my console it says only 5 switch's for home console a year(only have one left). And also we both bought a copy of the game. Mines digital and hers is physical. All we're trying to do is share gold like it says we can do with the family feature.

O ly the account with gold If you have the disk or xgu can roam she would be limited to home console for the download

You will have to either get her xgp or gold with a eso disk

No console works the way you suggest and would cause raw console to fail because it would allow rampant theft which no developer would want

She will just have to do the above or stay on the home console

Using home console to switch everytime she wants to move consoles isn't recommended as it's is limited to 10 per year with no exceptions and support cannot issue more

you can share gold, with one other console by making that home, there is no other way to have it so it is shared among three consoles. it would leave the system open to even more abuse than it is already.

switches are there in case your console is replaced or you purchase a newer model.

If you have 3 xboxes in the house you will need 2 xbox gold accounts for all three to be able to utilize xbox Gold features such as playing online multiplayer. You can only share a Gold membership between two consoles.

I'm in the same boat here. We have 3 Xboxs spread out over 2 houses for my kids and myself. Getting screwed in this deal...

So I will need 3 separate gold accounts now. One for the Xbox One I have preordered and one each for my son and daughter to keep playing their 360's in their rooms and my ex's house. Thats the price of a new console every few years.

Canceling my preorder is becoming tempting.
