3-Week Estimate for a Disc Drive repair

Sent the Xbox One in via Fed Ex after submitting online support request as instructed. Tracking showed it was received by Microsoft two days later. It took a week for any updates to post and finally today I find out it will be another 2 weeks to resolution.
Three weeks to diagnose or replace a disc drive. Really? I consider myself a patient man. I can't tell if I'm being unreasonable because of the 20 hours I've spent dealing with my corporate IT this week or if this is a legitimate complaint.

Xbox 360 broke, turns on and right back off, can't get game out, will microsoft fix it & return my game if I pay?

Had the same issue. Funny thing is I have had it for a month and same issues again. Disc won't start first time unless I put it in with slight force

Mine stopped reading discs and I was lucky and had a week left on my warranty. BS that they are having the same issue with the Xbox One as the 360. Their disc drive failure rate is getting out of control. Now I get to wait 2-3 weeks for it to get repaired
and returned to me. BS!

ive tried a disc repair kit

the xbox finally loads the game but most of the textures are missing

the player shows up and a few buildings but thats about it

ive had the xbox unplugged for about a week and had the disc drive cleaned but still no textures

ive tried cleaning the system cache 3 times in a row

and still no textures
