3 point contest and dunk content

All Star Weekend

Where is the dunk contest, and 3 point contest?

 

I'm new to Nba 2k14 Couple of questions

thanks....i have other questions too

1. How do I get to the dunk contest?

2. How do I get to the 3 point contest?

 

The only way i found how to play those modes is by getting to all star weekend on my career and being picked for those contests. I played the dunk contest once there and have not played it since, still fun though

 

you need to play well enough in the season to be invited to play anything on all star weekend

 

Start up a MyGM then simulate it to the All-star Weekend.

Speaking of MyCareer All-star Weekend, I just finished it last night and was selected for the Dunk Contest, Rising Stars Challenge and All-Star game, but didn't get to compete in the Dunk Contest only the other two games. It just said on the NBA.com section
of the menu that Ross guy from the Raptors won it. Maybe you can only participate in a max of two events during that weekend, which is odd as I done all of them in 2K13.

Oh well maybe next season I'll get to participate in the Dunk Contest or Three Point Contest, I'll just have to practice the dunks though if it's the same as 2K13's 'Dunk Hero' way of doing moves.

 

Why is it that u can't play the dunk contest? I was invited to it but didn't never played it. It just went to all star game...

 

I'm interested in knowing too. I'm about 20 games into my second season so I hope I can enter the 3-point or dunk contest this season.

 

I also did not get to participate in the Dunk Contest, it just skipped over it though I was invited.

 

The only way I know to access it is through the All-Star weekend in GM Mode or if you qualify for it in MyPlayer.

 

I got selected to the All Star team and it just simmed right over it. Such Bull.
