    3 out of 4 times, the Xbox One X I bought a few days ago won't be able to connect to Xbox Live using a wired connection. Network settings indicate "NAT Type: Unavailable" and "Service info is unavailable". Almost every time I turn it on (or restart it),
    I have to unplug the Ethernet cable from my modem/router and plug it again in a different port (doesn't matter which one, all LAN ports are working). Once I get a proper connection, the console will work without any issue (including playing online games with
    an open NAT type) until I turn it off. Restarting the modem/router and physically power cycling the Xbox usually also fixes the issue in the short term.

    Connecting the Xbox wirelessly using Wi-Fi seems to be stable. All other devices (including a PS4) connected by Ethernet to my modem/router work flawlessly. I've read lots of threads here and on Reddit and it looks like it's a common issue for people using
    the Instant On mode. However, I've always used the Energy Saving mode.

    Besides restarting and power cycling all devices, here are all the steps I've tried so far:
    • Set a static IP for the Xbox (on the Xbox side only, using a DHCP reservation on the modem/router only and both methods simultaneously)
    • Clear the alternate Mac address
    • Port forwarding
    • Turn off IPv6 on my modem/router
    • Put the Xbox in DMZ mode
    • Try a brand new Ethernet cable
    • Contact my ISP (they blame the Xbox)
    • Factory reset both my modem/router and my Xbox
    I'm at a loss what to do next. Is there anything else I should try?

    I would then contact support.xbox.com or your Internet Service Provider (ISP) for further assistance.

    From what you have said i would say your next best step would be to contact support directly at support.xbox.com. Looking at all of the steps i can access it seems you have done all of them so support should be able to help from here. Good luck!
