    3 More problems!!!


    Once again, I am having more problems with my Xbox One.

    1) The most annoying one is that when I boot up my console, I get to the home screen and it is asking me to Connect to Xbox Live, so I press the button to connect and it does NOTHING!!! So I have to turn the console off and then turn it back on again and
    then it works. This is ridiculous as my internet is the best you can get, is always on and the console is showing there is nothing wrong with my connection or with Live. Also, this happens if I turn the console off fully (at the plug) and then turn it on again,
    like the other day when I left a disc in the machine by mistake and again the home screen says I wasn't connected to Live and it wouldn't let me do it like above.

    2) The next annoying one is that when I boot up the console I am automatically signed in, but when I start playing some games, e.g. Forza 6, when I get to the menu screen it is asking me who to sign in as, which is stupid as I am already signed in as me!!!
    Really annoying.

    3) On the community tab I put comments on my achievements and my friends, but they just randomly disappear and then randomly re-appear. Stupid.

    I cant believe that this type of stuff is happening over 2 years since the console was released.

    Sorry to hear it. If the screen is stuck please try holding the power button on the console for 10 seconds until it shuts down. That should solve the issue.

    We bought a console yesterday that worked for all of an hour then we had the green screen of death and tried to fix it with every type of fix suggested by xbox

    but still not working.

    I had read that this may happen if the xbox packs up and you try and fix it lol.

    year of using an xbox360 with no faults then buy an xbox one and have loads on day one.

    Does your profile display as gold on your console?, if not recover your profile that can speed up the update process.

    If that's not the issue could you explain a little clearer what problem you are having (trying to play online/splitscreen etc), it would just make it easier to help.

    not sure on the router model, but its wireless connection. ive been thinking of moving my router up to my room where my box is, but i dont wanna flub it up by mistake. going wired isnt an option for me either.

    Hey there everyone!

    If you're installing a game to your Xbox One console from a disc and it seems to be frozen (meaning it's sitting at a lower percentage for an extended period of time), have no fear! We're here to help!

    Give the following steps a shot:

    Cancel your download

    Disconnect your Xbox One console from your network.

    Hold down the power button (on the console) for 5-10 seconds until the console powers off.

    Power the console on again.

    Retry the game install again without connecting to your network.

    Once the game has completed installing, you can reconnect to your network and download any needed updates.
