    3 Months Free Promotion Issue


    I signed up for a Groove Music subscription on January 24, 2017 because of a promotion-- the webpage said that sometime within the trial period I'd receive an email with a code for an additional 3 months free. However, I never received a code, and my subscription
    is due to renew tomorrow (emails have said my credit card will be charged).

    I just talked to Microsoft Customer Support, and after a couple transfers, the technician gave me a link to this forum and told me the problem will be solved within a couple hours if I post here. What an odd requirement to redeem a promotion. So here I am.

    Xbox Live Gold 3 months plus another 3 montgs free

    From 15th of January the promotion when you buy 3 months of gold membership and get 3 months of gold free is up. So I want to ask is this promotion region restricted? do I get 3 months free if I buy 3 month gold subscription? I live in Czech republic

    why can't Microsoft support help with this problem

    I too have this same issue and was told to post here after contacting support.

    Promotion was buy 3 months of gold, get 3 months free. The 3 Free months were to be received within 10 days from purchase.

    Received a code via email the following day (with no indication of how many months of fold it was for.)

    Waited 10 days, no secondary code/redemption instructions received.

    Redeeming the initial code, only gives 3 months of gold, not the 6 that stated in the promotion.

    It has been well past the 10 days since purchase, and the free 3 months is no where to be seen.

    Before it's asked, spam and junk mail has been checked. Outside of the initial purchase email/code, nothing relating to the order or promotion has been received.

    Support seems unable to help beyond telling people with this issue to post here.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    The 3-month code was meant to be sent out by Email is it in your inbox?

    Sounds like you purchased the buy 3 get 3 promotion that was available a few months ago. The promotion 3 free months did have an expiry date and needed to be used within 30 days of receipt

    The promotion I and some friends signed up for stated that you would get 1-month Free and then a 3-month free code via email. It did not say you had to buy a month to get the 3-month code.

    Contacted CHAT SUPPORT and they informed me that promotion never existed since "what reason would a company give away 4 months of service for free?"

    So it seems that if you signed up for the 1-month free service, you do not get the 3-months Free as the ad on the XBOX ONE stated. If you bought the 1-month service and did not get the 3-month code.....that is even stranger if what CHAT SUPPORT stated is
    the case.

    Let the gamers have Gamepass promotions once a year

    Interesting point. I think there are so many promotions already. I don't think alot of people are aware of. Also there are alot of groups that give you oher promotions that are thru xbox also. I will not name them all lets just say there are a huge amount
    of promotions some you can earn some are free. There are so many promotions that give you gamepass, gold etc for free for months 3 months at a time sometimes 6 sometimes 12. Usually the 3 month is easier

    This token has expired and cannot be redeemed.

    Promotional codes that you get "for free" often have an expiry date. It seems you bought 3 Months to get an additional 3 months for free.

    You would have to talk to Ebgames about the expired code.
