3 month gold membership not going into effect

Also this gold membership was never effected, there was no gap from Gold-Silver-Gold. Iv'e payed for my account's Gold in 3-month cards ever since June 5, 2009. Thanks again. -_-

No I kind of agree. I paid $24.99 for a 3 month xbox live gold membership, I played it for a month and a half, and didn't play for a while after that. 2 or 3 months later when I go to play online, its says my gold membership ran out. Its *** up that they
charge you when you're not even using your xbox. I payed for 3 months of gold, only used 1 and a half, and even when I wasn't playing they were taking time off my membership. They should only charge and deduct your membership when you are playing. I bought
3 months of gold membership, I deserve 3 months of gold membership. So time of the xbox gold membership should only be taken off when you're logged in.

You can do this by going to the following link

account.xbox.com/Subscriptions

In there, you can set it to 1 month or 12 months and it will renew respectively. I don't believe they support 3 month renewal anymore but I may be wrong there.

Please note: You will not lose any of your remaining gold membership if you change the setting now. It will stack on what you already have left over. The only way you will lose your membership is if you contact phone support and cancel your membership effective
immediately.
