3 Month game pass thing

Hey my dad recently got a ultimate game pass card and we can't redeem it, i think it's because our previous xbox live gold years worth card has expired and we need to pay that before we can upgrade our subscription but we both still don't know how can we
resolve this issue?

Thank you for reaching out to the forum. That is correct. When having payments overdue, you are not able to redeem codes until that is resolved.

Sign in to Services & subscriptions with your Microsoft account, then find your past-due subscription in the list and select Pay
now. Make sure you're signed in to the Microsoft account associated with the subscription that's past due.

Yes. And add the time of ultimate. 1 year Live + 1 month ultimate equals 13 months ultimate. And so on... The same thing is with the game pass. Example: 1 year Live + 3 months game pass+ 1 month ultimate is 16 months ultimate.

When you buy more Game Pass Ultimate via on the store or with a gift card, it will extend the length of your Ultimate membership. It will inform you when it will expire as well. Another cool thing people don't often know is that if you have a 3-month regular
Game Pass redeemable code and you currently have an Ultimate membership, it will convert the 3-month Game Pass into 2 months of Ultimate membership.

Even if I have one month of gold and 3 months of game pass? I was just worried that I would lose my 3 months of game pass.

I had 17 days left of game pass ultimate I decided to buy a 12 month Xbox live Gold card and a 3-month game pass ultimate card put in the 12 months first then the 3 months game pass ultimate card so that the 12 months would convert to game pass ultimate as well. Instead it only gave me 8 months game pass ultimate total as stated above.
