3 head sets since i got my xbox one!

My xbox one is only 4 or 5 months old. I am already on my 3rd headset. I have followed all of the steps suggested in help on all 3 sets. On each set the microphones goes out. I am 45 years old. I know how to take care of things. My headsets do not get snagged,
dropped, pulled on or anything. I keep it put up away from visitors, children and animals. This seems to be a factory defect. These head sets should last more than 6 weeks.

Chat head set not working

I got a Xbox one chat head set but I'm using it on my Xbox ONE S, I can hear them but they can't hear me

i finnle got a new head set for xbox one hyper x cloud core best on the market i can use it with pc my phone and my xbox one

 

Xbox headset have always been garbage, was the same issue on the 360. My buddy just bought the stereo turtle beaches and says there awesome.

 

I've had my Xbox One over a year and still have the default headset which came with it, it still works. Accessories do have a 90day warranty so if it breaks during that time you can request a replacement.

Now my 5th set has gone out. I dont understand whats going on. Is someone sending a signal to my headset telling them to shut down so i will have to buy another. There is no way 5 sets can go out One every month or 2. I dont llike the turtle beach head
set. I wonder what other head sets will work with the adapter i purchased. Maybe the adapter wont go out in a month.

 

It has been less than 90 days, you can still send your headset back in for a repair

 

I was playing a game and i was in a party and it just stopped letting me talk, i can hear my friends and the game it just wont let me talk. Any ideas what happend?
