3 hard resets since update...?

I haven't had a need for a hard reset since I got the system. Now 3 times since the update:

1) controller stopped working - tried resetting, pulling battery...nothing

2) quitting titanfall beta - screen went black. Voice commands worked (I heard it switching to tv) and i can hear the noises when pushing controller buttons but just a black screen

3) wouldn't load battlefield anymore. closed the game from home screen, Removed and inserted disc. Nothing helped. Hard reset system and it worked again...

anybody else have issues lately?

Sleeping Dogs Definitive Edition doesn't load

I had exactly this problem with Fallout Shelter. Tried a hard reset and it still did it a few times. Then it just worked. Only had it crash to dashboard once since.

 

Titanfall caused Xbox One to crash

Hard reset, reinstalled. No problems since.

 

I agree since the update i've had really slow system issues involving freeze ups and controller not responding...que the fanboys...bla bla bla every new systems new updates cause new problems that are new and need new attention and another new update for
another new problem because we dont quality test our updates or systems properly.

 

Just glad it's not just me. Had some power surges this week due to snow storm....

 

thank god for surge protectors right, saved my expensive electronics a few times now.

 

Yeah, i had a cheap surge protector once and during a thunderstorm just about every component within my pc was fried. Anyway, why doesn't MS seem to test stuff? They already have so many frustrated customers and now this? wow.

 

some fanboy will give you a spill about they are a "for profit" company so if it doesnt make them money then they dont/wont do it...lame excuse for crappy customer service. Glad my plan is to have a xbox one/ps4 and my gtx780 pc gaming system to play against
each other and wait for only sales/exclusives for each system. My pledge to MS with this kind of customer service, play me and I play you back...my next game on Xbox one will probably be titanfall when it his the bargain bin in a year. I have plenty to do
on my newly acquired skyrim/rust/7 days to die/dayz PC games I picked up all for the same price as 1 xbox one game (with a dlc or 2) thx to customer friendly Steam.

 

Everything that's happened since the May 21'st unveiling, has made me question what happened with MS.

Yeah Steam is awesome because your money goes a long way. Their sales are amazing.

 

I've had to do 4 hard resets. It doesn't turn my tv,dish or receiver on anymore. I got a black screen upon exiting Titanfall. And IE works sporadically . All I can say is what the heck is going on with my Xbox One? Am I going to have to do a factory reset?

Slightly off topic but for those having trouble with power surges and protectors, I recommend Belkin. Mine came with £100,000 damage insurance if it fails and protects landline phones and TV ariels too.

 

I also had this exact same issue. I shutdown softly with voice commands, and then brought back up via "Xbox On", but that came back up again with no video. It certainly is not an HDMI issue, since I did not lose sync. Happen when I said "Go Home". Had to
hard reset.

 

I had already abandoned HDMI pass through and "Xbox On", so no complaints with the Update. I only had to change my Harmony Ultimate power setting to Power Toggle, other than that all good.

 

Same here... First black screen ever.... I do soft resets 3-4 times a week, seems like now after Update it may be more. Quite pathetic.
