$3 for Titan Fall (my trade in story)

I thought this may catch the attention of a few.....

Was at the mall today, with my copy of DR3 and Lego Marvel Super hero's, going to trade for TF. Went to EB games, gave him my trades, he gave me my copy of TF; Balance due: $3!!! WTF???? DR3 was worth $21 on trade and Lego was worth $18...... TF selling
for $59.00.... difference of $20 some dollars.....

Apparently there is a X1 trade promotion, trade 2 games and get a bonus dollar amount.... OK... plus I got a bunch of free Axe personal care stuff (if I did stink, I wont now!)

So I go find my wife, tell her my story. She looks at me and says " You paid $60 each for those games for a total $120, you traded them in and still paid $3 for a $60 game... " ouch........

I was tired with DR3 and Lego, I feel content with my purchase... a toonie and loonie and TF..... downloading right now!

Question about X1 trade ins at Gamestop.....

I usually use eBay to sell games but I noticed GameStop has some trade in deals if you trade in a x1 game u get $10 extra credit and another deal to get 30% more for trade ins towards titan fall. Question is Do these stack? Can I get both promotions
on my forza for credit toward titan fall?

I did the same with with bf4 and rivals except i received 4 dollars back to me.

I am content as well. Great read, this may sound mean but tell your wife she was wrong and it did not hurt.

Got $42-ac4 $42-dr3 and $35-ghost. I was happy with that trade in at gamestop

 

That's the way the cookie crumbles. You can't expect anywhere near what you paid for a game when you trade it in. It's just how it works. However, Titanfall is worth it.

 

Funny thing is. Gamestop, more often than not, gives me more trade in credit for my games.

Went to trade in a copy of Ghosts on PS4 yesterday. Best Buy offered $15. Amazon offered me $25. Gamestop offered $35(plus I had a coupon that gave me an extra $10 on X1/PS3 trade ins so I got $45.) Not bad. More than I paid for it and more than what it's
going for right now.

Yoshis New Island will give me more entertainment than Ghosts ever would.

I was all smiles when I came out of EB games with TF for $3.... DR3 and Lego served no use for me anymore. I had $30 for the initial trade difference, when I could pay with pocket change....WOOT!.... took the wife to the food court and bought a round of
Tim Hortons Chili and double doubles... (Canadian Coffee....)

TitanFall is very crisp on my plasma.... incredible.... very comparable (=) to Forza 5. The game play is solid. Load times are good. Only took 13 minutes to full download.....

Thats not right Ghosts on PS4 you would get 30$ at BestBuy They have 100% trade in credit right now so basically they just cut the value in half then give you 100% bunus just a gimick but still.

And this is the thing everybody getting some decent money back for something they would probably never play again. Something everybody who is going digital should think of there copy has zero trade in value enjoy.
