$3 for a month gold membership?

My annual Xbox Gold subscription recently ran out while I had no funds to renew it. My dashboard showed me an advertisement saying I could get a month for $3, so I went to renew my membership through the advertisement and on the billing screen, it still
shows $9.99 as the amount it will charge me. Before I go through with the purchase, I want to know if I really am eligible for this promotion, and if so, why is it showing the standard price when I try to use it?

What the chance of a XBL sub special offer

Before Monday . I for got Gears of War 3 is out on Tuesday and I don't have any Xbox Live Gold. I don't want a 12 month code. I only want a cheap 1 month or 3 months sub. Last time I got gold Microsoft had 3 months for £6. Now it is £7 for 1 month .

 

Renewal method

Hi,

I subscribe to Xbox Live Gold when the promotion was 3 months at 50%, so 12.99$ for 3 months of Gold.

When Xbox will renew my subscription, what will be the new terms of the renewal? Will it be renewed for a year at full price, or for a month at 8.99$ or for 3 months at 50%?
