3 Feb 14 Easy Classic puzzle crashes

I have tried to run this puzzle several times, but Mahjong crashes to the desktop every time. I can play today's other puzzles and have completed all of today's solitaire.

Problem With Microsoft Mahjong Daily Challenge

1. The following daily challenges are not loading:

a. 3 Feb – Tile 1 – Easy – Classic

b. 4 Feb – Tile 1 – Medium – Lightning Tiles

c. 6 Feb – Tile 1 – Easy – Golden Tiles

d. 7 Feb – Tile 3 – Hard - Classic

e. 8 Feb – Tile 1 – Easy – Golden Tiles

f. 9 Feb – Tile 3 – Medium – Classic

g. 15 Feb – Tile 2 – Easy – Match Attack

h. 15 Feb – Tile 3 – Easy – Classic

2. Uninstalled and reinstalled Mahjong app; problem not resolved.

3. Signed out of Xbox Live and signed in again; no success.

4. Cleared Windows Store cache; restarted computer and performed check for updates; no updates available. Tried before and after reinstalling app.

5. Windows firewall shows public access for Microsoft Mahjong.

6. McAfee Internet Security installed; renewal originally set for 18 Feb 14; renewed on 6 Feb 14; did not resolve issue.

7. Used task manager to check performance; shows ~2% CPU and ~260 Mb Memory before application suspends.

8. Event manager shows no errors.

9. Running Windows 8 (64-bit) Version 6.2 Build 9200; all updates current as of `5 Feb 14.

10. Using Vizio CT15-A2 laptop.

11. No issues with other games.

12. Was unable to access Xbox Live account on 15 Feb. Restarting computer resolved the issue.

 

Mahjong

Same problem as others! Mahjong crashes on Feb 3 easy daily challenge on medium game and on Feb. 4.

 

Ditto. This happens in the daily challenge on the easy classic puzzle. This happens on my PC. this is the second day this has happened

 

Happens on the desktop and the Surface PRO.

 

I tried to get information about this problem from x-box chat and Jason was no help at all. It looks like there should be some way to tell Microsoft that they have a problem and that it is not a problem with my computer. All the other daily challenges
for solitaire, taptiles, and mahjong worked today and every day since I got my Windows 8 computer last summer. (Sony vaio tap 20)

Same thing is happening for the Medium Lightning Tile challenge for 4th Feb tested on HP laptop and Medion desktop

 

I'm new to this forum. I was wondering, will someone from xbox or microsoft acknowledge this problem in this forum? Or are the games unsupported? I am experiencing the same problem with Feb 3 (Easy) and Feb 4 (Medium) failing to load and causing the app
to reload.

 

I won't buy the full version until this problem is resolved.

 

Same here, and now it's happening with one of the puzzles from Feb 4th as well, I believe it's the Medium one, the first on the left. This is exceptionally aggravating as I look forward to doing new Daily Challenges every night at midnight.

I don't know what everyone else has but I'm on a Surface Pro 2. Please fix asap.

 

Same for me. Both days. I complete the first two challenges, then the third one crashes. No restarts of PC or game help. Don't know if its a coincidence that its always the last challenge for me to complete that crashes.

No easy way I can see to contact support. I just gave the games a 5 star review a few days ago. Think I'll lower that rating.

 

I think it's a coincidence but either way it says something about the order in which we do them.
