3 DEC Tri-Peaks Expert Challenge

Anyone figure out today's (3 Jan) Expert Tri-Peaks Challenge? I think it is either getting maximum points in the first two boards or getting past the third board. I have been unable to do either so far.

This one had me baffled until I figured out that I needed to go back to the first screen and get more points there before moving on to the second screen. I had originally completed the first screen, but not in the most optimal way to make up for points I
wasn't able to get in the second screen.

can't for the likes of me finish that 2nd level or get the necessary 29,800 score....is it meor is there a problem with this particular game?

 

I'm in the same boat, I can get close to the needed score, but I can't solve the 3rd board, nor can I get more points earlier in the game.

 

+1 for the same problem, it's really pissing me off

VERY aggressive with the first board! You should complete the first board with more than 20,000 points. Try to set up as many
MULTIPLE plays as you can and still complete the first and second boards. The score increases in multiples the more cards you play at one time. The third board cannot be completed, although CombinedPlague2 can
probably do it; I could not. Good luck.

 

Knowing that 20k+ was possible on the first board really helped, after that I got into a groove - thanks!

 

The third board can be solved. I solved the first three boards and then only had to get just a few more points on the 4th board to get my blue medal. The third board is very tricky. If you play the obvious cards at the beginning you will lose. I took
an unconventional approach and won.

 

I did try several unconventional approaches to no success on the third board. I figured the 'obvious' moves would result in failure, and that is correct; but, my strange starts didn't work, either. Guess I didn't try strange enough?

 

THANK YOU! I didn't realize the value was more for the multiples. After stopping and getting my frustration out from doing something else, I went back and was successful in the win. Thanks again!

 

Thanks for the vote of confidence. Can't remember if I completed 3rd board , but I did complete the challenge!
