    3 Day Comm Ban from messing with a friend


    So me and my friends mess around, say some pretty vulgar things to each other and I wad just banned for 3 days for one of the things we said and I was wondering if it was possible if I could get unbanned? I don't use language like this with strangers and only with friends and he understands I was just messing around. So surely I get unbanned right?

    It doesn't matter if it's joking around with friends, language like that is not allowed on the Xbox network. You would have to go to http://enforcement.xbox.com to try submitting a case review, but the site is having issues at the moment so you won't see the suspension and won't be able to. But even if it was, the enforcement team would not lift that suspension.

    Permanent Ban or 3 Day Ban?

    Unlike others that got a permanent ban without anything listed on the enforcement page when you log into you XBL account, mine did show a 3 day suspension.

    That suspension shows completed/served and is greyed out like my previous comm bans. Unlike some others, I know why I was suspended/comm banned... I said some things that I shouldn't have under their rules.

    Regardless, my 3 day ban was over as of 7:25 pacific/9:25 central on 1/14. It's now the 17th and my Xbox is still telling me I am permanently banned.

    Bans

    Communication suspensions are temporary,24h hour,7 day or 14 days usually.

    Never heard of anyone getting a permanent comms ban.They'll ban your account outright if you have to many comms suspensions.

    As Genesis said though,account bans or suspensions are account linked so if you have a 2 weeks comms suspension that would be in place on al platforms.
