3 controllers down and not looking forward to buying #4

So over the last 6 months or so I have had to buy 3 xbox one controllers. Either it has a major drifting issue with the stick or the lb/rb keep sticking. It is just insane the quality of these controllers. It is funny how they start acting up just after the 90 day mark. 60-65 per controller is expensive when they last just over 3 months. I work hard for my money and hate wasting it constantly. I had a PS before buying my xbox one S and X and never had any controller issues. I have read many reports on these cheaper controllers lately.

What do I do now that each controller has barely lasted outsides its 90 day warranty. Be screwed apparently. While I still attempt to use them, i can't use them for my main games like COD or BF which is where I spend most of my time gaming.

Will Microsoft help people out and cover controllers outside of warranty since there has been so much documented problems? Or are we the consumer screwed and forced to move to PlayStation?

I would love for Microsoft to respond to this and start fixing these issues but most likely wont hear from anyone.

Have you run the steps in Update xbox wireless controller? All controllers you use need to run the firmware update.

I prefer the usb method.

Sounds like the controls are inverted. Hardcore gamers tend to prefer a control where pressing the joystick forward or up makes the character look down and vice versa. To see if this is the problem: 1)Click start, the small button in the right center of
most controllers, 2) Move the cursor to the second option "Help & Options" and press a, the green button on the right, 3) move the cursor to the third option "Controls" and click a on the controller, 4) near the middle of the screen will be a box that can
be checked called "Invert Look". If this is checked, it means moving the cursor down will make the character look up. If it is, move the cursor down one and when "Invert Look" is highlighted hit a on the controller.
