3 controllers- 3 broken AUX ports

My son has an xbox. I just purhased an xbox. Both my sons AUX ports died within a year and mine died the second day. Ive had my ps4 controllers for 3 years with no issues. Mabe time to go back?

Anyone else experience this? Any solutions besides the ones listed by xbox or the 2 month return process?

I haven't had much luck with the built in ports of the controller as well. I typically use the adapter that came with my Turtle Beach headset and I haven't had any issues since.

Yes, that is what i am referring to. And i eventually did go get an adapter, but I feel like for a $60 controller i shouldnt also need a $40 adapter for each controller in use.

Aux ports? Are you referring to the port on the controller for plugging the headset into? If so many have suggested the headset adapter that attaches to the controller. I use it on my controllers and have never had an issue.

My friend also had the same issue, he bought a Chat Adapter and it solved his issue.
