3.5mm wireless/Bluetooth adapter for Xbox One Elite controller?

the new controller will have a 3.5mm headset jack. Is there a 3.5mm device that'll turn the input into a wireless or Bluetooth capable audio output? My plans would be to plug the adapter into the audio out, then sync my Bluetooth headset to the adapter
to finally have a tiny, mono speaker wireless headset option- for chat only. Is this possible?

    :)

The Elite controller does not feature Bluetooth connectivity.

To connect it to your computer, you will need the
    Xbox Wireless Adapter

    Bluetooth controllers

After extensive testing with a new Xbox One controller I recently purchased (This model:

    www.xbox.com/.../lunar-white-wireless-controller
), it seems that I was not able to connect. The Microsoft Support page (

    support.xbox.com/.../connect-xbox-one-controller-to-pc
) explains with images down the page that certain Xbox controllers have Bluetooth support while others do not. While my controllers does match the one with Support in the image, I have figured that
only the new Xbox One S controllers have Bluetooth support (Listed in description:

    www.xbox.com/.../xbox-wireless-controller
), despite the image shown. The best way to connect non-Bluetooth controllers is to use the Windows wireless adapter (

    www.xbox.com/.../windows-wireless-adapter
) the adapter has benefits over Bluetooth, like being able to use your headsets, or connect multiple controllers, while connection through Bluetooth only allows for one controller at a time.

  4. 3.5mm wireless/Bluetooth adapter for Xbox One Elite controller?

There's been nothing officially announced, but as long as you have an independently powered Bluetooth adapter any one should work. Something similar to these devices:

    www.walmart.com/.../28944958

    www.sears.com/.../p-SPM3625710921

I'd prefer to stay wired until an official Microsoft wireless adapter is announced, or a trusted headset manufacturer like Turtle Beach or Astro releases one, just because most generic Bluetooth adapters like the ones I linked will be bulky and might get
in the way or may not have the audio quality you're looking for.

    Hope this helps!

Xbox one has been a real drag compared to the 360. Shortly after launch - not 2 years like now- the 360 came out with a simple $50-60 mono speaker wireless headset. How do you design a console in 2012/2013 and not include a truer mono wireless headset?
I was hoping for an announcement at E3 for a 4K Xbox One or at the least a wireless headset but nothing! Who likes kids swearing over their surround sound like me or having everyone on your team participate in conversations going on in your family room-
not I! MS has become a shadow of the innovative company it used to be. I wish Apple would make a gsme console, for even though it'd cost twice as much, it'd have four times the innovation and come with basic things like wireless headsets or headset adapters
for the old wireless headsets(360 wireless headsets). Xbox you suck. I guess there will be no team communication for Halo since the design and accessories team is twiddling their thumbs.

Does Turtle beach offer a mono speaker headset to just hear teammates chat- like a Bluetooth cellphone headset or can use the stereo headset adapter and hook up a 360 wireless headset via a 3.5 mm cable? I just want a headset to go over one ear and connect
to the headset adapter to get chat. I have a surround system and will not use a pilot style stero headset like turtle beach offers. So if anyone knows how to hook up a Bluetooth headset with a cable to the stereo headset adapter or a way to make the 360
wireless headset work with the 360 controller via some cable of appreciate it. I can't hook up anything to the optical output on my console since I hsve hdmi going to my reliever for surround. I just want chat via some way other than Turtle beach massive
headphones when I have better surround sound system snd receiver,

How to use Xbox Elite Series 2 audio jack while wirelessly connected to Win 10 PC?

    Hi,

The 3.5mm headphone jack on Xbox One/Series X|S controllers (including Elite controllers) does not work when connected via Bluetooth. It will only work via USB or the official Xbox wireless adaptor.

Comment connecter sa manette élite sur son téléphone ?[How to connect your elite controller to your phone?]

    Hi Thomas,

Unfortunately the Xbox Elite Wireless controller is not Bluetooth capable. Only the current Xbox One Wireless controllers have Bluetooth technology and they can only connect to Windows 10 PC's. The Xbox Elite controller will need an Xbox Wireless Adapter
in order to connect to the PC wireless. Xbox One controllers cannot currently connect to mobile phones in any way unfortunately.

Apologies for the inconvenience but I'm sure Microsoft will include Bluetooth technology in the next iteration of the Elite controller sometime in the near future and possible make a way to connect to mobile phones. Maybe you can post this idea over on
Xbox Ideas to get this seen by the right people.
