    3.5mm to 2.5mm chat cable and adaptor


    SDo last night i was speed running a halo mission with a mate we was talking when all of a sudden he could hear himself and hear everything i was doing turns out while gaming the rubbish and cheap 3.5mm to 2.5mm wire that you get with the chat adaptor had
    broke now i am beyond *** off now because iv brought 4 chat adaptors and all i need is a wire and for some reason astro ( i use astro gaming) dont seem to sell a 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable. So i was wondering if anyone new where i can get a cable that isnt going
    to break now i was going to get the new xbox one controller but today i noticed it has a 3.5mm jack not a 2.5mm jack what is it with microsoft using 3.5mm.

    Hello,

    It looks like you do need a chat cable (2.5mm) as well as the Xbox One Stereo Adapter (which comes with the 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable).

    If you have the newest controller (3.5mm audio jack built in), then you'll need a 2.5mm cable as well as a 3.5mm to 2.5mm cable to plug it into your ASTRO A50s.

    Hello,

    Has the Stereo Headset Adapter been discontinued?

    I'd recommend saving up for an elite controller, and an adaptor 2.5mm to 3.5mm should work :) there is 2 types though, ctia and omtp.

    I have the polk melee headset was supposed to get free upgrade to xbox one but didn't so i bought the adapter but now also need a 3.5mm cable as the one that came with has it's own mic which overrides the headset. will any 3.5mm work or do i need a

    The headset came with a 2.5mm to 3.5mm adapter. Does your headset not have the 2.5mm cable to connect to the controller from the old 360?

    It should if it has a 3.5mm or a 2.5mm audio jack cable for the mic.
